Congratulations on purchasing a Variovac Central Vacuum System. Variovac vacuum systems are manufactured to an exceptionally high standard and because of this we offer a ten year limited guarantee on your power unit – see the terms of the 10 year guarantee enclosed.

For guidance on protecting these very important benefits and for more information about Central Vacuum Solutions Ltd please read the following notes:

1. This guarantee only applies to installations in homes. For light commercial use, all parts of the system are guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase. For heavier commercial applications please ask for details of our maintenance contract.
2. Your Variovac System must only be used within the guidelines specified in this Maintenance Manual.
3. The 10 Year Guarantee only covers parts and labour on the ducting network, inlets and power unit.
4. Central Vacuum Solutions Ltd is the sole authorised UK importer of Variovac Central Vacuum Systems which are manufactured by ZSA in Germany.
5. Central Vacuum Solutions is a Limited Company whose prime objective is to supply a product of the very highest quality to totally satisfied customers. It is hoped that our 10 Year Guarantee confirms this commitment.

10 year guarantee for power unit, inlets & ducting

Central Vacuum Solutions Ltd, hereby agree to make good on a pro rata basis by replacement or repairing at our option, any defects which on examination are found to be due to faulty materials, workmanship or design in our power unit, inlets and ducting within ten years of the date of despatch from our depot. The system must only be used as per the guidelines within the Maintenance Manual.

The regulation upon which the guarantee is based shall operate as follows:

1. In the unlikely event of any manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship in any part of your Variovac product becoming apparent within a four year period of dispatch from our depot, all components shall be supplied free of charge.
2. Within the fifth to the tenth year of ownership any defective components shall be supplied at 50% off the then current list price.

Lifetime guarantee against blockage of ducting

Central Vacuum Solutions Ltd will guarantee any system, whether fitted by Central Vacuum Solutions Ltd or not, provided that:

1. When installed, the system was fitted as per the Installation Manual supplied by Central Vacuum Solutions Ltd.
2. The system is only used as per the parameters laid out within the Maintenance Manual, for ordinary domestic use.
3. The customer has firstly undertaken the simple unblocking procedure as outlined in the maintenance manual.

2 year accessory replacement guarantee

Any accessory which fails to perform at the required standard (as set by Central Vacuum Solutions Ltd) within one year of purchase will be repaired or replaced, at Central Vacuum Solutions Ltd discretion, provided that the items have been used as per the directions within this Maintenance Manual.

Conditions

This guarantee is offered to the customer as an additional surety to their statutory rights and offers a unique form of extended warranty.

Although Central Vacuum Solutions Ltd agree to undertake labour costs on any repairs free of charge during the guarantee period, the customer is responsible for returning and collecting the goods from Central Vacuum Solutions Ltd, Meadow Lodge, Wormelow, Hereford, HR2 8EG.

CENTRAL VACUUM SOLUTIONS LTD CANNOT HONOUR ANY GUARANTEE CLAIMS WITHOUT RECEIVING THE FAULTY PARTS.

WEARING PARTS, SUCH AS THE CARBON MOTOR BRUSHES, ARE NOT COVERED BY THE GUARANTEE.

We can arrange collection of your power unit via a courier. However, there is a cost for this service and the power unit must be boxed up and well protected to prevent any damage from occurring in transit. The courier may refuse to accept power units that have not been packaged sufficiently.

Incorrect attempts at repair or servicing by anyone other than a Central Vacuum Solutions Ltd service engineer will invalidate the guarantee.
